Nous sommes heureux de vous faire parvenir ci-dessous le programme du colloque* « Imperial and Colonial Currencies. Monetary supply, Policy, and Circulation, 16th-20th centuries »* qui se tiendra au Centre d’histoire de Sciences Po (CHSP) les 6 et 7 juin prochains.
Le colloque sera l’occasion de discuter de la place de la monnaie dans la formation des empires, en particulier de la pertinence de la notion de « monnaies impériales », à travers l’étude de ses spécificités – mais aussi de sa banalité –, dans différentes configurations impériales et coloniales entre les XVIe et XXe siècles.
